Deputy Remains On Scene During Investigation's First Day

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY., Ohio -- A Tuscarawas County woman was found dead, the victim of an apparent homicide, near her home Thursday morning.The New Philadelphia Times-Reporter reported that the woman, whose name has not been released, was discovered by a family member at 10:20 a.m. at 8088 Dawn Road.A deputy assigned to guard the crime scene would not release further information to NEWS9 Thursday night, referring all questions to Sheriff Walt Wilson.Calls to the sheriff's office and detective division were not immediately returned Thursday night.
