BREAKING NEWS: Jury About To Read Verdict In Yarbrough Case
Jurors Questioned Difference Between First-, Second-Degree Murder

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. -- A Washington County jury began day two of deliberations Tuesday morning in the case of Terrell Yarbrough. At about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday court officials notified NEWS9's Jasmine Lo that the jury has a verdict.Yarbrough, 28, is standing trial a second time for the slayings of Aaron Land and Brian Muha in 1999.Land and Muha were students at Franciscan University of Steubenville.Yarbrough and an accomplice, Nathan Herring, were convicted in Ohio, but a higher court ruled the trials should have been in Pennsylvania, where the two men were found shot to death.Jurors began deliberating at 5:30 p.m. Monday.At 7 p.m., jurors asked the judge for clarification on the difference between first and second-degree murder.At 8 p.m., they sent out for food.Once Yarbrough's trial is completed, Herring will also stand trial in Washington County.
