Truck Crashes Into Home, Narrowly Missing Sleeping Toddler

A dump truck crashed into a Weirton home, narrowly missing neighboring home where a toddler was sleeping.

The crash happed Wednesday morning on Marlamont Way, in the Marland Heights neighborhood.

There were no reported injuries and the homeowner was not there at the time.

The truck came very close to striking a next-door neighbor's bedroom where a toddler was sleeping.

A work crew using the truck told police they saw the truck roll down a hill and crash into the home. It was not immediately known if anyone will be cited.
