NEWS9 obtained the list of witnesses who will take the stand in the trial of suspended Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter.

Carpenter is accused of conspiring to sell stolen items from the home of the surrogate for actress Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick.

The defense plans to bring the following people to the stand as witnesses: Charles F. Bell, Jeff Burns, Keith Cateel, Patrolman Charles Ghent, Bill Robinson, Beth Scales, Jeremy Shrodes, Mike Stauffer and Melissa Wallace.

The prosecution listed the following people as witnesses: Prosecutor Chris Berhalter, Jeff Burns, Bruce Callarik, Cassandra Curd, Rachel Donley, Brian Dowdle, Officer Chip Ghent, Mickey Gyurko, Jon Jenkins, Scott Joseph, Suzanne Marling, John McFarland, David Perel, Mark Rohrer, Michelle Ross, Patrolman George Shreve, Michael Stauffer, Lisa Savage, Patrolman Beth Scales, Jeremy Shrodes, Tom Siburt, Lisa Sprague, Anthony Steffman, Justin Steffman and Christopher Thorn.

Bruce Callarik was charged in the surrogate scandal but the prosecution dropped the charges against him in October. The special prosecutor then announced that he would testify in the cases of Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack.
