Investigators are taking a closer look at an abandoned barn fire in Harrison County.

Holloway Fire Chief William Robertson said investigators are still trying to determine why a barn caught fire in the middle of a field along Jockey Hollow Road. When he got to the scene, the blaze was fully involved. Crews called in reinforcements from four other volunteer departments in the area. The building is considered a total loss.
