Pedestrian Struck By Car In Belmont County; No Reported Injuries

Emergency crews responded to a call that a pedestrian was struck by a car in St. Clairsville.Officials said the person was only slightly bumped by the car and the person was not injured.A dispatcher told NEWS9 the incident happened in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot at Marietta and West Main streets around noon Wednesday.Police said a vehicle backing out of a parking space in the church parking lot slightly bumped a person walking behind the vehicle.Officials said neither party wants to pursue any legal action.
