Horse Abuse Or Simple Training?
A Marshall County man says he's not guilty of tying up a horse and stretching its legs.
In fact, Robert Anderson says he wants the case to go to trial.
Anderson told police he was trying to break the horse for riding.
On Wednesday, Anderson went before a judge on charges including animal cruelty and brandishing a weapon. When he left court, he told News9 he is not guilty of any charges.
Anderson told News9, "Yeah, I'm not guilty guarantee. I'm not guilty. We're going to court, we're going to a jury trial. One man ain't gonna decide my life."
Police say Anderson also threatened a humane officer with a knife.
