Parties See Different Messages In Poll On Corruption
A new poll suggests Ohioans have had it with corruption in politics and want some new faces in office.
The University of Akron poll released last week has the attention of both Democrats and Republicans. But the parties see different meanings in its results.
Democrats say it's clear that voters want change. Party spokesman Brian Rothenberg says Democrats still have to offer fresh ideas.
G-O-P spokesman John McClelland says voters want a change in leadership but not necessarily a change in parties.
Both parties are getting ready to start going directly at each other after the May 2nd primary.
