The search continues for a Mahoning County man who is believed to have fallen overboard on a cruise ship.

Officials said Daniel DiPiero, 21, of Canfield, went back to his room on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship late Sunday night and has not been seen since.

The Mariner of the Seas was headed to Coco Bay in the Bahamas from Port Canaveral in Florida.

The U.S. Coast Guard searched the 120-mile expanse of water with a C-130 aircraft on Monday, but weather problems have halted that effort at this time.

The FBI is also collecting video and taking statements from other passengers aboard the ship. They are also searching the DiPiero's room for any clues.

The president of the cruise line said, "We are determined to do everything we can to assist the authorities in searching for this young man."
