Illegal Alien The Suspect In Heroin Bust

St. Clairsville Police searched the Rustic Arms Apartments early Wednesday morning and uncovered a large amount of black tar heroin.

Black tar heroin is what the Belmont County Sheriffs Office described as a drug that is hard to come by in Belmont County.

What was most surprising to neighbors is the area of this bust is what they describe as a small, family-oriented community.

The next door neighbor, Rosemarie Over said, "I mean there are kids around here too, you don't want something like that going on when there's kids."

Thats why police tell NEWS9 the bust was so important, because they uncovered $2,400 worth of drugs and trafficking money in the search and found out that the man behind it all shouldn't even be in the United States, let alone in Belmont County.

Police said he is an illegal alien from Mexico who operated this drug business from his apartment under a fake identity.

The man police said is behind the bust will face felony drug charges as well as the possibility of being deported back to Mexico.
