Magnolia Falls To Tolsia In Triple Overtime At WV Class AA Basketball Tourney

Jacob Copley had 40 points and 14 rebounds, including the go-ahead free throws in the third overtime, to lead Tolsia to a 67-59 win over Magnolia in the boys Class AA quarterfinals Wednesday night.

 Fourth-seeded Tolsia (19-7) is in the tournament for the first time since 2004 and will meet top-seeded Bluefield in the semifinals Friday.   Fifth-seeded Magnolia (20-5) lost in the quarterfinals for the third straightyear.Magnolia came from six points down in the second overtime, with Mark Winters' jumper with 18 seconds left tying the score at 57-57.

 Winters scored 9 seconds into the third overtime, but Tolsia made the final 10 points.

Winters finished with 33 points and 12 rebounds.

 Tolsia shot 31 percent from the floor but outscored Magnolia 29-9 from the free-throw line.
