2 arrested for drug trafficking

Bellaire Police Department with the assistance of the Belmont County Sheriff's Department and the Bridgeport Police conducted two drug raids with two arrests made with drugs, money and vehicles confiscated.

The first raid was conducted at about 10:00 p.m. Friday night at 1787 Belmont Street; the location was also raided last March 28th, 2013 for Drug Trafficking.

Officers arrested Tiffany Lynn Voltz, age 28. $350.00 in cash, several laptops believed stolen and a TV.

Three vehicles were towed from the residence.

One child was present when officers made the arrest and was released to relatives.

Two dogs, one Great Dane and a Pit bull being kept in a kennel inside the residence are being removed by the Belmont County Animal Shelter.

Voltz's bond was set at $2500.00

The second raid was conducted was at 402 Rosser Avenue after 3:00 a.m. this morning where Ronald Lee Shaw, age 42, was charged with Drug Trafficking of Schedule III,IV, and V drugs, he was also charged with Child Endangerment as a five year old child was in the residence at the time of the raid.

 $2,300 in cash, baggies of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia was confiscated.

Shaw's bond was set at $6,000.

Both Voltz and Shaw were transported to the Belmont County Jail for lockup.

The Search and Arrest Warrants are a result of several months of investigation conducted by the Bellaire Police Department.
