BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Devin Wayne Fuller, one of two men accused in the rape and killing of 92-year-old Lydia Ashworth in June 2012, was found guilty of one count of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, and burglary by the jury Thursday afternoon at the Belmont County Courthouse.

Fuller, 21, was found not guilty of the other count of aggravated murder with rape specification.

The jury handed the verdict to the judge in the case, John M. Solovan II, about 3:30 this afternoon.

Through it all, he remained expressionless and solemn as he learned his fate in front of  his family, as well as the victim's family and friends.

There is a possibility of the death sentence being imposed. That's the "second phase" that will take place next week. The jury was ordered to appear at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning for that second phase, which could last through Wednesday.

Jurors are under the continuing order not to discuss -- or even inquire -- about the case.
