Updated: Wednesday, March 5 2014, 08:35 AM EST

BELLAIRE, Ohio—Wednesday morning, the AEP will be transporting a generator from Guernsey Street near the MPR Transloading Facilities to Belmont County Road #3, St. Joe Road’s AEP Substation.

During that time, the Bellaire Police Department will be escorting the generator, and maintaining traffic moving at a slow pace.
The route is expected to start at 5310 Guernsey Street, then head south through the Marietta Coal Property along the railroad tracks to the 3700 block of Jefferson Street. From there it will turn onto 37th Street to Guernsey Street and past St. John’s and Bellaire High Schools to Cresent Street and State Route #149, then on to westbound Belmont County Road #3, St. Joe Road to the AEP substation.
Officials warn that they may be traffic delays along the route due to the slow speed of the transport.
