BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio -- The fate of convicted Murderer Devin Wayne Fuller is in the hands of the jury.
Court dismissed for lunch at noon Tuesday and shortly thereafter jurors began the deliberation, spending the evening in sequestration.
Earlier Tuesday morning, the defense rested its case, and closing arguments began.
Defense council also noted that Fuller could break the cycle of violence in his own family if given the chance.
When state then took its turn, prosecutors told the jury that some of what’s happened in this case does involve Fuller’s background but a lot of it has to do with his choices.
Jury members have the option of choosing life in prison with the opportunity for parole after 25 years, or after 30 years, or life without parole. The most serious potential sentence is the death penalty.
