BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. --

Mario Lyles, the man accused multiple times of taking pictures of women at various stores around the Valley, was behind bars again on similar allegations.

Lyles has been in the Northern Regional Jail after being picked up by Weirton police on Monday.

On Wednesday, he went before Judge Ronald Wilson in Brooke County Circuit Court for an extradition hearing since the most recent charge is out of Steubenville, where Lyles is from.

According to a police report, sometime in late May, Lyles was waiting in the women's bathroom at the Bob Evans along Sunset Boulevard. There, he allegedly took pictures of an unsuspecting woman from under the stall. She caught him and reported it to police.

Lyles was arrested and found guilty back in 2008 for a similar situation at the Kroger in Hollywood Plaza and again in a dressing room at the Fort Steuben Mall.

In 2011, he was arrested again in Winterville.

Since Wednesday’s hearing was only an extradition hearing, Lyles will now be sent back to Jefferson County where he will be in court again to face the actual charge of voyeurism. That court date has not yet been set.
