Charges pending after 2 horses seized

Updated: Wednesday, July 2 2014, 08:30 AM EDT

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio-- Charges are pending after two horses were seized in Harrison County back on June 12.

One horse, known as Bunny, was said to be skin and bone, while the other horse, Sugar, wasn't in as bad of condition, but according to the Harrison County Humane Society, both had little to no food and only dirty water to drink.

Tuesday, officials say charges are pending for Kenneth Feister and Gloria Woods.
During the investigation by the Humane Society, the couple went back and forth on who actually owns the horses.

They will face charges of animal abuse and neglect, according to Humane Officer Darla Smith.

Also, Smith says a few months prior to these horses being seized, another horse was sized after being at the residence for a short period of time.
