Officers say a woman got into a car at an intersection on the north end of the island, threatened the driver with a gun, and started stealing items out of the vehicle.
The driver described the suspect as a black woman in her 40s or 50s, about 5-foot-3 or 5-4, a chunky build, and a short aftro hair style. Police say she was missing two front teeth and was wearing a pink t-shirt with dark shorts and flip flops.
