Drugs seized from Follansbee residence

FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. -- Drugs were removed from a Follansbee residence Wednesday afternoon after an ongoing investigation.
The Follansbee Police Department and Brooke-Hancock Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 203 Marquette Ave. in Follansbee around 2 p.m. Wednesday.


Officer Steve Falbo with the Follansbee Police Department said that there were several people in the residence, including the homeowner.


Follansbee Police located and seized marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia, items consistent with sale and distribution of controlled substances, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
No arrests were made but police contacted the Brooke County Prosecutor’s Office and they will determine what charges may or may not be filed.
