winter weather advisory all but Tyler County until 1 pm Monday

Snow mixed at times with rain especially well south of Interstate 70 is expected to accumulate 2" to 4" for most of the area tonight and another 1" to 2" Monday, for a total accumulation of 3" to 6" for most of the area through Monday evening.  In our far southern counties where more rain mixes in (especially southern parts of Monroe, Noble, and Marshall counties and Wetzel County), 1" to 3" snow is expected, with Tyler County likely to receive an inch or less.

One arrested after shots fired in Wheeling

WHEELING, W.Va.-- One man is behind bars after a case of shots fired in wheeling overnight.
 
Officials say they responded to the jogging trail west of the 2300 block of Main Street for a report of shots fired just after midnight Monday morning.

Zachary Michael Foster, 22,  then found in possession of three firearms. Foster was then taken into custody and charged with felon in possession of firearm, carrying concealed deadly weapon without a license and possession of a controlled substance. Officials say more federal charges could be pending.
 
Foster is in the northern regional jail awaiting arraignment.
