Search for answers is on after body is found in Harrison County

Updated: Wednesday, August 27 2014, 05:15 PM EDT
HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio -- The search for answers is on after a male body was found on the side of County Road 44 – also known as Tunnell Hill -- in Harrison County Tuesday night.
The sheriff investigating the case said it is calling it suspicious as the questions mount: Who is he? What happened? And how did he get there?
A passerby found the body and called 911 just after 6 p.m.
"Units responded, and confirmed there was a body lying on the road,” Harrison County Sheriff Joe Myers said. “(We) don't know really how long he had been lying there."
Myers said the coroner was then called to the scene, and the body was then taken to Harrison Community Hospital, and then transferred to the Stark County coroner for an autopsy.
They do not know the man's name or where he's from.
Anyone with any information who may have possibly seen a vehicle come out of County Road 44 is asked to contact the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.
"After talking to investigators from other counties, they've had some similar, not really totally right on the same type of bodies being dumped, but we are not sure right now, so we’re still investigating this," Myers said.
Those other counties the sheriff mentioned are Stark and Mahoning counties in the Youngstown area.
If anyone has any information on this, contact the Harrison county sheriff's office or our Crimebusters Tipline at number 1-800-862-BUST.
