Three arrested for heroin possession, abuse

Updated: Monday, March 3 2014, 11:44 AM EST

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio – Three people from West Virginia were arrested just before noon Sunday after police say they found them in a Steubenville parking lot in possession of heroin.

Police were talking to Joseph Chiodi while he was pumping gas at the North 3rd St. Speedway in Steubenville when they said they noticed two others in the car appearing to be using the drug. After a brief search, police say they found several syringes in the front console.

Arrested, along with Chiodi, of Weirton, W.Va., was Kimberly Reilly of Follansbee, W.Va., and Anthony “Tony” Hill, also of Weirton. They were charged with felony possession and abuse of heroin.

Chiodi also had a bench warrant out for his arrest.
