JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio – The Fourth Street Health Center in downtown Steubenville will be relocating.

The clinic, which experienced water damage to the walls and ceiling last week, is moving to Trinity East in the Ross Park Professional Center, as the cost is too much for repairs.

“It is a transitional space,” Ann Quillen, executive director of the clinic, said. “We know this is a temporary arrangement for both Trinity and the Health Center. We are very grateful, but we all feel very strongly we need to be downtown.”

Quillen expects the move to last only about a year before moving to a permanent location that has yet to be determined.

She said they had plans to expand anyway, and this mishap put that project on the fast track.

“Moving into a much larger space will allow us to expand those programs and improve them, improve capacity,” she said. “It will allow more patients to be involved, so it’s very important.”
