Weirton traffic to be altered for new sewer lines

HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. --

The Weirton Sanitary Board reports the contractor installing a new sewer line in the City has two crews mobilized on W.Va. 2 in the south-bound lane. Beginning Monday, the first crew will be working in the intersection of Virginia Ave. and Main St.

Motorists accessing Virginia Ave. are advised to use West St. The second crew is working in the intersection of Heaslett Ave and Main St. Motorists accessing Heaslett Ave. are advised to use Washington St. Motorists on this road and in the general area may experience traffic delays. Barriers and traffic cones will be altering the flow of traffic through this area. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and watch for merging traffic patterns. Businesses in the area are operating as usual.
