One arrested in meth lab bust

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio---
 
Harrison County officials were called to the scene of an active meth lab around 9:30 Friday night.
 
When crews arrived at 204 Penn Ave. in Bowerston, they found an “active cook.”
 
The drug task force, which includes crews from Holmes County, was called in to deactivate the meth lab.
 
Thirty-seven-year-old Josh Decker of Bowerston was taken into custody.
 
Officials said he will be taken to a local hospital to be medically cleared before he can be jailed.
 
Harrison County Sheriff Ron Myers said Decker will likely be charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, which is a felony 2.
 
Officials said they found several other items that are possibly substances of meth.  Those items will be tested.
 
As of 11:30 p.m. officials were still on the scene.

This incident is still under investigation.
