First reading held on curfew changes

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio-- Steubenville city leaders held the first reading of new curfew changes during Tuesday night’s city council meeting.

Officials say if the changes are passed by city council, it would mean that children ages 15 and under would not be allowed without supervised between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

While teens ages 16 and 17 wouldn’t be allowed out unsupervised from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The second reading is scheduled to be on June 24th, with a vote expected by July 8th.
