Home hit by car again

Updated: Wednesday, January 15 2014, 12:15 AM EST

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio---

Another driver crashed into Patricia Beattie's home Tuesday night. Only this time they kept going.

You may remember Beattie's home was also hit over the weekend.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was on the scene when our crews arrived at the house along Wilson Avenue.

The crash happened around 8 o'clock Tuesday night.

Investigators said they are investigating this as a hit and skip, because after the driver hit Beattie's home they didn't stop.

Shortly after talking to investigators, Beattie spoke to us again.
"I was just sitting here talking to my insurance agent about the guy coming down to assess damages and I hear a bang and I told him I gotta go somebody just hit my house," said Beattie. "This is twice in two days what's it gotta take…somebody to die before they do something?"

On Monday, we spoke with county officials. They told us they would be out to look at the area after residents and NEWS9 inquired about a guardrail.

Investigators said they are looking for that vehicle but they don't have an accurate description.
