Man accused of Steubenville shooting remains in jail

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio --

A man accused of shooting and wounding a man in Steubenville earlier this month remains in jail on $50,000 bond.

Alterik Rogers, 39, is charged with felonious assault, weapons under disability and tampering with evidence.

On Tuesday, a judge bound Rogers' case over to the Court of Common Pleas.

Rogers is accused of shooting a man in the leg in the Pleasant Heights neighborhood. In court on Tuesday, the alleged victim told the judge the incident started at a McDonald's drive-through when Rogers pretended to shoot a gun at him.
