BRIDGEPORT, Ohio – Rayland’s James Oberman will face his sentencing in October after a guilty plea for robbing the Bridgeport Citizens Bank in May.
Oberman had just gotten out of prison for robbing a bank in Jefferson County when he robbed the one in Bridgeport and was caught by police a very short time later.
He’s been charged with aggravated robbery with a firearm specification and with possession of weapons under disability since he was a felon and not allowed to have a gun.
Oberman, 31, could face a maximum of 17 years behind bars.
