CAMERON, W.Va. -- A Cameron man is facing serious charges after he allegedly kicked a pregnant woman during an argument.
Thomas Allen, Jr., is charged with domestic battery.
Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department said the incident took place Monday morning around 9 at a home on Waynesburg Pike Road.
According to reports, the victim and Allen were arguing when he became very upset and kicked her in the back and leg. Deputies say he then started throwing clothes hangers at her when she fled to a neighbor’s home.
Allen allegedly told the woman if she told anyone about the abuse, he would quote "kick her again so hard the baby would go into her spine."
He is being held at the northern regional jail on a $4,500 bond.
