BELMONT COUNTY -- Jury selection continues in the Belmont County Courthouse for defendant Devin Fuller, who is accused along with his co-defendant Brandon Phelps in the rape and brutal killing of a 92-year-old Bellaire woman in June 2012.

The process began last Thursday with 300 potential jurors and will be whittled down to 12. There were so many potential jurors called, the courthouse wasn’t big enough. Marion Hall next to St. Marys Catholic Church was temporarily used last week.

Court officials say Judge John Solovan II has blocked off the entire week for jury selection, and that it’s just hard to tell when that process will wrap up.

Both Phelps and Fuller are charged with four counts of aggravated murder committed in the course of rape, aggravated burglary and of trespassing.
