Knife-wielding man arrested in Guernsey County

GUERNSEY COUNTY, Ohio -- A knife-wielding Guernsey County man who allegedly assaulted a neighbor and threatened others remains in jail on a $30,000 bond after a Saturday night altercation on Meek Avenue.
William Lowry Jr., has been charged with felonious assault. Alerted by a 911 call reporting a knife-wielding man, Byesville Police arrived at the scene minutes later. According to reports, officers observed Lowry threatening his neighbors with a knife. Police pulled their weapons and ordered him to drop the knife. Lowry did so and was arrested.
Another man who received minor injuries in the altercation was treated by United Ambulance.
