Police confirm shooting in Steubenville

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- Police have confirmed a shooting in downtown Steubenville.
A father and his 5-year-old son were injured after shots rang out in broad daylight.
One victim has been flown to a Pittsburgh hospital by medical helicopter after being shot several times.
It happened around 10 a.m. outside of the Heritage Place apartments.  Officials have taped off an area between Heritage Place apartments and Gaylord Towers.
Police from Steubenville and Mingo Junction are on scene.
The injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
The suspect, a black male, got away in a yellow Chevy Cavalier, 1990s model with a sunroof and ground effects. Police believe a white man was driving the car.
