Man arrested for allegedly trying to sell drugs at a grocery store

OHIO COUNTY, Ohio – A West Liberty man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to sell drugs to shoppers at a local grocery story.
Jakob Barnes, 28, was charged with possession with intent to deliver.
Police said he was caught with more than 300 pills, a heroin spoon, marijuana and a pipe Tuesday afternoon.
He was arraigned late Tuesday night by magistrate Harry Radcliffe after a visit to the hospital for a possible drug overdose.
Police said Barnes attempted to sell valium to several customers and employees at the Kroger store.
He's in jail on $5,000 bond.
