Updated: Thursday, February 27 2014, 12:15 PM EST

WHEELING, W.Va.  – The Wheeling Nailers hockey team, Figaretti’s Restaurant and the Rotriga family have teamed up for a ‘Hope for Hines’ event.

It’s one of several events planned as community continues to rally around the Rotriga family.

The Nailers will donate a portion of the proceeds from Sunday’s game to the Rotriga family.

Two-year-old Hines Rotriga was diagnosed in December with stage IV neuroblastoma and is undergoing treatment.

Workers from the restaurant, family members and some of the players will also be selling raffle tickets and collecting donations.

The game is 3 p.m., Sunday when the Nailers take on the Cincinnati Cyclones.

The Rotriga family will be at the game to answer any questions about little Hines.

Also, The Incline Bar and Grill in Mozart plans a full-day fundraiser with a 50/50 raffle, bands, and tips for tidbits Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m., with proceeds going to the family. Smoke Daddy and the Crawfish, New Age Adenas, and Tim Ullom are scheduled to play music.
