JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio---

The Jefferson County Drug Task Force and the Sheriff's Office took down a marijuana growing operation in Adena Friday afternoon.
Officials said the home where the pot was being grown sits along County Road 6 just outside the village.
When they arrived, investigators found 150 plants as well as a number of other things associated with the growing of marijuana.
Sheriff Fred Abdalla said his officers have been asked by the mayor to investigate these types of crimes in the village.
The sheriff said no arrests have been made at this time.
