New Cumberland man enters guilty plea for soliciting a minor over the internet

HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. – New Cumberland’s Douglas Wells entered a guilty plea to soliciting a minor over the internet on Monday in a Hancock County court.
Judge Martin Gaughan sentenced Wells, 42, to 2-10 years in prison. He must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, and will be on supervised release for 10 years once he gets out of prison.
