CARROLLTON, Ohio - An investigation into trafficking cocaine in Carroll County has led to the arrest of one man in Carrollton.

Police arrested David Lee Huffman, 29,  after an investigation into selling crack cocaine that lasted several months.

Huffman is facing two counts of trafficking in cocaine, which are both felonies of the fourth degree because the drug sales were within the vicinity of juveniles.

During a search of Huffman’s residence, detectives discovered and seized over 25 grams of powder and crack cocaine, 4 grams of heroin and over $3,400 in cash.

Police also seized scales, packaging materials, drug sale documents, numerous cellphones and computers.

Carroll County Sheriff Dale Williams said that additional charges are expected to be filed on Huffman and that he encourages county residents to contact the sheriff's office with any tips involving drug activity.

Huffman is being held in the Carroll County Jail awaiting a bond hearing on Tuesday
