WHEELING, W.Va.

Wheeling City Council voted Tuesday night to decide whether to keep or remove stop signs in Warwood.

Council voted unanimously to keep all three signs in question along Richland Ave.

It all stems from a resident asking the traffic commission in November to consider taking three of eight stop signs away.

Drivers along Richland Avenue stop eight times along the 1-mile stretch of road.

Fourth Street,  Sixth Street and Osage Lane were the cross streets where the stop signs were up for question.

Council member Gloria Delbrugge says that she's happy council took her side to keep the signs.
