Two men connected with Belmont County break-ins arrested

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio -- Two men allegedly connected to numerous business and private property break-ins in Belmont County are now behind bars.
Justin Baxter, 27, and his cohort, John Marple, 28, are facing a slew of charges. Baxter has been charged with breaking and entering, failure to appear, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Marple is facing two felonies charges of breaking and entering.
Investigators say the pair stole numerous items from various locations from televisions to copper and telephone wiring.
The pair is also alleged to have broken into Blaine Aggregates on two separate occasions.
“We're very pleased the Belmont County Sheriff's Office worked tirelessly to bring these two individuals to justice,” said Drake Prouty, safety and human resources manager for the company, which is based out of Zanesville.
Meanwhile, this investigation is still ongoing.
