ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, Ohio —
An investigation is under way in Columbiana County into a fatal shooting.
St. Clair Township Police Chief Donald Hyatt said the shooting happened Saturday morning at the victim’s Birch Road home.
The victim’s name was not released as of Monday morning but officials said he was in his 40s.
Hyatt said paramedics treated the man at the scene but he later died from his injury.
Authorities said they are awaiting autopsy results.
