Moundsville, WV —
The 12th Street Bridge in Moundsville has been reopened after lightning struck a static line.
Crews with AEP worked late Wednesday night to fix the line. Voltage was still in the line, posing a risk of electrocution or a fire.
Officials reopened the bridge just after midnight on Thursday morning, but they will have to close again during the day for repairs.
