By NEWS9

CARROLL COUNTY, Ohio —

Carroll County sheriff's deputies made several thefts arrests Monday, putting four men behind bars.

Deputies arrested William Bissett, 44, Friday on a felony theft charge after he allegedly tried to scrap $45,000 worth of copper parts from Augering Technologies in Carrolton, according to Sheriff Dale Williams.

Three other men are behind bars for allegedly stealing heavy farm machinery, Williams said.

Deputies saw the theft in progress just before noon Monday along State Route 43 north of Carrollton at Eicks Storage. Williams said the machinery is worth about $2,500.

Deputies arrested Homer Brunk, 41, of Kensington, Jason M. Day, 38, and Richard Russell, 34, who are both from Minerva. Williams said Russell just left prison days ago.

All three men are facing charges of breaking and entering and felony theft, Williams said.
