5K Run, Walk Deemed A Success

RAYLAND, Ohio —

Runners and walkers laced up their shoes at Buckeye Local High School Saturday.

The event was held in honor of Steven Dobranetski, who passed away in 2008.

He was a member of the Buckeye Local cross-country team.

"Everything we hoped and more. All of our sponsors have been great. almost 500 bottles of water were donated here today. It’s a nice day,” event co-founder Sean Tuttle said.

All the money raised Saturday was put towards a scholarship fund for a senior Buckeye Local cross-country runner, and to the team itself.
