Accused accomplice in attempted pharmacy burglary set to appear in court Wednesday

OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. —

A woman accused of being an accomplice in an attempted pharmacy robbery in Elm Grove is scheduled to be in court on Wednesday.

Melody Fisher’s attorney has requested a status hearing, which is set to start just before noon in Ohio County.

Fisher is charged with felony murder, robbery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit robbery.

All of the charges stem from an incident at the Elm Grove Pharmacy, during which Kevin Walnoha was killed as he attempted to rob the pharmacy at gunpoint.

Fisher’s pretrial is scheduled for Dec. 7 and her trial is set for Dec. 17.
