The Fort Steuben and Ohio Valley Malls opened early to find lots of shoppers on a mission.
Some were bargain-hunting, others were getting a jump on next years Christmas shopping, some were making returns and exchanges, and others just say this is the best time to shop.
Many retailers slash prices after the Christmas holiday because they want to make way for new merchandise.
Some shoppers we talked to said they won't even think of shopping until after Christmas, because the prices are considerably lower. Others said they shopped enough before Christmas, but can't help making another trip to the malls today.
