Another Home Intrusion In Wheeling

Police said when Nicole Mason came back to her home Tuesday, after being away for three weeks; she was frightened to find someone had been there. She was so frightened; she said she was afraid to go back.

According to Wheeling Police, when Mason walked into her home, there were blankets covering the windows to keep people from seeing in. There were also strawberry blunts left scattered all over the table, with tobacco filled ashtrays. Police said the only thing stolen was a 19-inch TV, but holes were found on the walls. Mason told police that she was the only person with a key, and police found no sign of forced entry. How the person got in is still in question, along with what they were doing in her home. Neighbors in the area said they were shocked to hear the news, but they will be sure to lock their doors from now on.

There was a security camera right in front of Mason's home, and police will be reviewing that tape. Police say they do have a suspect in mind.

Police want to urge everyone to be sure to keep their doors locked. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call the Wheeling Police Department.
