Out enjoying the warm weather in Harrison County, Ohio, two fishermen stumbled upon something they never imagined they would find.

A big, blue bag tossed into the water with five puppies inside.

The two men made the discovery after they cut the bag open.

Harrison County Humane Officer Darla Smith believes all the puppies are about 3 to 4 months old.

The puppies were left on the edge of the pond along Lamborn Road in Unionvale.

Smith said she was just as shocked as the fishermen when she arrived.

She said the puppies looked like they were asleep, and she admitted they couldn't have been there long.

One of the puppies even had a collar on.
