BEECH BOTTOM, W.Va. —
Another Ohio Valley community will be paying tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn.
Beech Bottom council and its Neighborhood Watch group will gather at the Veterans’ Memorial in front of the mayor’s office on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Weirton community leaders will also hold a candlelight vigil on Wednesday evening to honor the 26 children and adults who died in the shooting rampage Friday. The service will take place at the Millsop Community Center.
