CHESTER, W.Va. —
A Hancock County home was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a home on Arner Road in Chester. There were no reported injuries.
Officials said when crews arrived at the scene, flames were shooting through the roof of the house. Crews closed the road for some time because they had to use tankers to douse the flames.
